The sweet spot. 12 to 24 inch channel letters are the most common size for storefronts — big enough to read from the street, compact enough to fit any facade. This is our highest-volume, best-value size.

It is the size that balances visibility and cost. From the street, a 12-24" letter is clearly readable at typical storefront distances, and it fits most facades without dominating the building.
A good rule of thumb is 1 inch of letter height for every 10 feet of viewing distance. So a customer standing 120-240 feet away reads 12-24" letters easily. Send us your storefront photo and we will recommend the exact size.
Medium letters cost slightly more than small letters because they use more material and LED, but they give far more visibility per dollar — which is why most storefronts choose this size.
