But that only works if you don't buy the cheap stuff. Cheap LED modules die in 12 to 18 months. You can spot them immediately: look at the solder joints. Dull gray solder joints mean the factory used cheap lead-based solder that'll crack under thermal cycling. Proper lead-free solder is shiny and silver. If you see gray, walk away.
Same with IP ratings. IP65 sounds impressive. It means water jets from any direction won't kill your sign. It does
