Start With the Factory, Not the Price List

Look, if they can’t show you a real-time video walk-through of that floor — not a polished 2018 promo — you’re probably talking to a trading company that’s never touched a bending machine. A factory with 50+ skilled workers and proper departments for laser cutting, bending, polishing, and aging tests is a completely different animal. Certifications: The Wild West

I’ve seen this go wrong: a buyer orders a sea container of outdoor signs for a corporate rebrand, all stamped with CE markings, only to have the shipment rejected at the port because the cert was expired or outright fake.

CE marking costs between 20,000 and 50,000 RMB and takes a couple of weeks of actual testing.
